Hall of Fame Innovation Keynote Speaker and 29-time Emmy Award Winner, Bill Stainton helps leaders and their teams Turn Creativity into Money™. In-person or virtually, he engages audiences with insight, energy, and humor.
How good a speaker is Bill Stainton, CSP? When the National Speakers Association (NSA) was looking for the perfect opening keynoter for their New York City convention (the largest in the association’s history), they chose Bill Stainton. His standing ovation performance led one former NSA president to say, “I’ve never seen anyone combine so many elements of a great keynote as brilliantly as you did!”
Bill’s audience experiences are always customized, and always entertaining. That’s why he’s a CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), the speaking profession’s highest earned international measure of excellence. Fewer than 15% of NSA members worldwide have achieved the CSP designation, and Bill is proud to be among them.
And in 2019, Bill was inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame (there are currently fewer than 185 speakers in the world in this exclusive club)! He joined the ranks of Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen, Nido Qubein, Zig Ziglar, Sally Hogshead, Mary Kelly, Marilyn Sherman, Linda Larsen, Colette Carlson, Jason Hewett, Brian Tracy, and Jeanne Robertson to name a few!
Bill was the executive producer of Seattle's legendary comedy TV show, Almost Live! (which also enjoyed a two and a half year run in national syndication on Comedy Central). Along the way, he won 29 Emmy Awards for his work as a producer, writer, and performer. More important, Bill led his team to 10 straight years of #1 ratings and more than 100 Emmy Awards of their own!
His twenty-plus years in corporate management taught him how to lead a team; his work with people like Jerry Seinfeld and Ellen DeGeneres taught him how to entertain an audience.
Bill's most requested experiences include:
- Connect the Dots (Breakthrough Thinking)
- Crunch Time! (Producing Under Pressure)
- It's Showtime! (Leading High-Performance Teams)
- “The 5 Best Decisions the Beatles Ever Made…and Why You Should Make Them Too!”
He is the author of The Innovation Blueprint: A Step-by-Step Framework for Breakthrough Ideas, The Executive Producer: Lessons in Leadership from a 29-Time Emmy Award Winning TV Producer, and Lead Like the Beatles: How Four Young Men Reinvented and Dominated an Industry...and How You Can Too!

"Bill delivered more energy, engagement, and sheer value in a 20-minute virtual program than many speakers do in an hour in-person! He combined real-world experience , compelling stories, and engaging activities to create an immediately- applicable program on innovation that got rave reviews from our members!"
~ Beth Knox- President Seattle Sports Commission
He has also written for HBO, Comedy Central, and The Tonight Show, and is a regular columnist for Seattle Business magazine. He has been cited in Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. Bill's TEDx Talk has been called a "masterclass," and he's equally at home speaking to audiences of a few to several thousand.
Now Things Have Changed... BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE INNOVATION STOPS! Bill has entered the Virtual World and is a Certified Virtual Presentor by eSpeakers, and he brings to you a Creative Innovation Experience, Virtually. "In times of uncertainty, innovation is more important than ever!"
