For nearly 20 years, he was a Commander in the US Navy and became a Naval Aviator. As the lead solo pilot of the elite U.S. Navy Blue Angels, John consistently performed in an extreme, high-stakes environment, flying at speeds of more than 500 miles per hour in formations as close as 18 inches apart!
